Welcome to the new "Scroll Saw Inspirations" web site! I hope you will stay and visit awhile. Just pull up a chair and make yourself at home.
In the past few years, I've been known for designing mainly compound cut patters. Of course, it's still my first love but I'm beginning to branch out a bit and having great fun designing new things. The following photos are just a sample of the new patterns. More will be added soon and eventually some of the older patterns will be on the site as well.
Our shopping cart is now online! Click the "Buy Patterns" link on the left to see more designs. You will find thumbnail photos of each pattern in the shopping cart. Simply click each picture to see a larger view or "Add to Cart" to purchase the pattern with your credit card or PayPal account. Each pack comes with complete instructions and how-to photographs. The following photos are just some examples of what's available inside.
Just in time for the Christmas season, a "Pot of Poinsettias". This pattern is just beautiful and can be found under the "Compound Cut Flowers" category in the shopping cart, or just click the picture to the right to go directly to the pattern.

This is the "Triple Rings Keepsake Box" made of Incense Cedar. Incense Cedar is the very same wood pencils are mad of. When I'm using it, the aroma reminds me of my classroom days.

Try your hand at doing a mosaic lid box. This one is made of Mahogany and White Poplar. It's a simple method with great results!

This is "Boo the Magic Dragon" and he's a compound cut pattern made of Makore and Cyprus. To your left you'll find a link to a page that will help beginners with compound cutting. There are how-to photos, directions and helpful hints as well as a practice page to get you started. By the way, there will be a "Wizard" soon to accompany the dragon. What's a dragon without a wizard?
The vase and flowers are compound cut patterns. The vase is made of Black Cottonwood, The stems and leaves of Butternut and the violet blossoms of Black Walnut.

The banks are one of my newest brainstorms. Some of them have compound cut elements such as ears and tails to give them more dimension. It's so much fun to design things for children.
Click on the small "Smiley Face" to download a free bank pattern.

Of course that's compound cut petunias on the picture frame pattern. The petunias are made of Genuine Mahogany and the frame is heart of Cyprus. The "bride" is my daughter Robin.

The last photo is the "Gracie Clock Pattern". It also has some compound cut elements (imagine that)! It is made of Mulberry wood.
